I Hit the Pick 4 at Belmont

I am so proud of myself. It was the late Pick 4 and it was probably an easy one (as Pick 4’s go), but still…  The fields were short and two out of four favorites won. Winning a Pick 4 is HARD. I’ve gotten three out of four several times, but the last one has eluded me.

The Vosburgh: Giant Ryan (12 to 1)

The Kelso: Uncle Mo (although I really wanted Jackson Bend to win)

The Beldame: Havre de Grace (ok, that was a gimme)

The Jockey Club Gold Cup: Flat Out (almost a gimme, Stay Thirsty was the heavy favorite)

I think that rooting a horse you’ve bet home to win is a huge thrill. It’s one of my favorite things.
